Through my paintings I seek to capture something that will move the viewer. I find myself especially drawn to painting cats and dogs, their playful antics, and the worlds of expression in their eyes. The interactions between people and their pets also engages my interest. I especially enjoy recreating special moments on my canvases–as when my husband and granddaughter sat on our couch and strummed the ukulele together, singing happily on top of their lungs!
Painting is a personal pleasure for me and I hope, also, a way of giving pleasure to others.
